What plan management is

A plan manager looks after the financial side of your NDIS plan. Instead of handling invoices and budgets yourself, you have a provider who takes care of the paperwork — so you get the flexibility of choosing your own providers without the admin that comes with it.

Here's what a plan manager typically does:

• Pays invoices from your providers on your behalf, on time.
• Keeps track of your NDIS budget so you don't overspend.
• Provides regular monthly statements showing what's been spent and what's left.
• Removes the admin burden of managing NDIS funding directly.

Because you're plan-managed rather than agency-managed, you can also use providers who aren't registered with the NDIS — giving you more choice about who supports you.
